6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu kapsamında
Globuy uygulamasını sunan şirket (bundan böyle "Globuy" veya "Veri Sorumlusu" olarak anılacaktır), 6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu ("KVKK") kapsamında veri sorumlusu olarak siz değerli kullanıcılarımızın kişisel verilerini kaydedecek, sınıflandıracak, işleyecek, saklayacak, güncelleyecek ve gerektiğinde üçüncü kişilere aktaracaktır. İşbu bilgilendirme ile, KVKK hükümleri gereğince karşılıklı hak ve yükümlülüklerimiz konusunda sizleri bilgilendiriyoruz.
Tarafınıza ait kişisel bilgiler, başta kimlik bilgileri (ad, soyad, e-posta adresi vb.) olmak üzere, cihaz bilgileri, kullanım verileri, tarama geçmişi, tercihler ve sizin belirlenmenizi veya belirlenebilir olmanızı sağlayacak her türlü bilgiyi ifade etmektedir.
1. Kişisel Verilerinizin Toplanma Yöntemi
Kişisel verileriniz; Globuy mobil uygulaması, Firebase Authentication servisi, uygulama içi etkileşimler ve analitik araçlar kanalıyla toplanmaktadır. Veri toplama yöntemleri şunlardır:
- Kimlik doğrulama: Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In veya e-posta/şifre ile üyelik kaydı
- Uygulama kullanımı: Etiket tarama, fiyat karşılaştırma, kur dönüştürme işlemleri sırasında oluşturulan veriler
- Tercihler: Para birimi, dil, arama ülkesi gibi kullanıcı tercihleri
- Demografik bilgiler: İsteğe bağlı olarak paylaşılan yaş aralığı ve cinsiyet bilgisi
- Cihaz ve kullanım verileri: İşletim sistemi, uygulama sürümü, kullanım istatistikleri (Firebase Analytics aracılığıyla)
- İletişim: Destek talepleri veya geri bildirimler
2. Kişisel Verilerinizin İşlenme Amaçları ve Hukuki Sebepleri
Kişisel verileriniz aşağıdaki amaçlarla işlenecektir:
- Hizmet sunumu: Üyelik işlemleri, etiket tarama, fiyat karşılaştırma, kur dönüştürme ve sonuçların gösterilmesi
- Kişiselleştirme: Kullanıcı tercihlerine göre dil, para birimi ve arama ülkesi ayarlarının saklanması
- Geçmiş kayıtları: Tarama geçmişinin saklanması ve kullanıcıya sunulması
- Güvenlik: Hesap güvenliği, yetkisiz erişimlerin önlenmesi ve kullanıcı doğrulaması
- İstatistik ve analiz: Uygulama kullanım istatistikleri, performans izleme ve hizmet iyileştirme
- Yasal yükümlülükler: İlgili mevzuat uyarınca adli ve idari yetkili mercilerce öngörülen bilgi saklama, raporlama ve bilgilendirme yükümlülüklerine uyulması
- İletişim: Kullanıcı destek taleplerinin yanıtlanması
- Bulut ortamında saklama: Kişisel verilerin bulut ortamında üçüncü kişiler vasıtasıyla saklanması, depolanması ve güncelleştirilmesi
- Pazarlama ve iletişim: Tarafınıza bilgilendirme, reklam, promosyon ve benzeri amaçlı iletilerin gönderilmesi için işbirliği yaptığımız operatör ve diğer üçüncü kişilerle paylaşılması
- Müşteri segmentasyonu: Müşterilerin ihtiyaç, öncelik ve kredibiliteleri yönünden sınıflandırılması ve belli bir not sistemine tabi tutulması
Hukuki Dayanak: Kişisel verilerinizin işlenmesinin hukuki sebebi, şirketimizle yaptığınız veya yapacağınız sözleşmelerin kurulması veya ifasıyla doğrudan doğruya ilgisi olması kaydıyla, kişisel verilerinizin işlenmesinin gerekli olması ve sözleşmenin kurulması ve ifası dışındaki konularda sizin açık rızanızdır.
3. Kişisel Verilerinizin Aktarılması
Kişisel verileriniz, hissedarlarımıza, yurtiçi/yurtdışı iştiraklerimize; faaliyetlerimizi yürütmek üzere hizmet aldığımız, işbirliği yaptığımız, danışmanlarımıza, avukatlarımıza, program ortağı kurum, kuruluş, yurtiçi/yurtdışı şirketlere, verilerin bulut ortamında saklanması hizmeti aldığımız kişi ve kurumlara, müşterilerimize gönderdiğimiz iletilerin gönderilmesi konusunda anlaşmalı olduğumuz kurumlara, işbirliği yaptığımız veya hizmet aldığımız yurtiçi ve yurtdışı bankalar (muhabir bankalar dahil), finansal kuruluşlar, ödeme kuruluşları ve diğer üçüncü kişilere ilgili işbirliklerimiz çerçevesinde aktarılabilecektir.
Kişisel verileriniz, hizmetin sunulabilmesi amacıyla aşağıdaki üçüncü taraflarla paylaşılabilecektir:
- Firebase Authentication: Kullanıcı kimlik doğrulaması (Google, Apple, e-posta/şifre) için
- Firebase Analytics: Kullanım istatistikleri ve analitik veriler için
- Firebase Firestore: Kullanıcı verilerinin bulut ortamında saklanması için
- Google ML Kit: OCR (metin tanıma) işlemleri için
- RevenueCat: Premium üyelik (Globuy Pro) satın alma ve abonelik yönetimi için
- Google Mobile Ads: Reklam gösterimi ve reklam gelirleri için (ücretsiz kullanıcılar için)
- Bulut servis sağlayıcıları: Veri saklama, yedekleme ve işleme hizmetleri için (Google Cloud Platform)
- Pazarlama ve iletişim ortakları: Bilgilendirme, reklam ve promosyon iletilerinin gönderilmesi için
- Resmi merciler: Yasal zorunluluk halinde adli ve idari otoritelere
Resmi mercilerin talebi veya mevzuat gereğince bilgi verme zorunluluğu olan hallerde bilgileriniz yasal merci ve kurumlara aktarılabilecek olup, bunlar da bilgilerinizi ayrıca paylaşabilir.
4. Kişisel Verilerinizin Saklanması ve Güvenliği
Kişisel veriler, bu bilgileri verme amacı geçerli olduğu sürece saklanacaktır. Faaliyet konumuzla ilgili ihtiyaçlarınızın belirlenmesi, size daha çabuk hizmet verilmesi amacıyla, verileriniz bizden aldığınız hizmetin süresinin dolmasından sonra da tarafımızdan işlenmeye devam edilecektir.
Veriler, yasal sürelere tabi olarak ve yasal merciler ve diğer ilgili kamu otoritelerine raporlama, bilgilendirme amaçları için tutulması gerekiyorsa bu sınırlara uyulacaktır.
Saklanan, kaydedilen verilerin kaybolmaması, yetkisiz kişilerin eline geçmemesi ve hukuka aykırı kullanımların önlenmesi için gerekli güvenlik önlemleri tarafımızdan alınacaktır. Bu kapsamda:
- Firebase Authentication ile güvenli kimlik doğrulama
- Veri şifreleme ve güvenli iletişim protokolleri (HTTPS/TLS)
- Erişim kontrolü ve yetkilendirme mekanizmaları
- Düzenli güvenlik güncellemeleri ve denetimler
5. Kanun Kapsamındaki Haklarınız
KVKK'nın 11. maddesi gereğince; şirketimize başvurmak suretiyle kişisel verilerinizin;
- İşlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme,
- İşlenmişse buna ilişkin bilgi talep etme,
- İşlenme amacını ve amacına uygun kullanılıp kullanılmadığını öğrenme,
- Yurt içinde veya yurt dışında aktarıldığı üçüncü kişileri bilme,
- Eksik veya yanlış işlenmiş olması halinde bunların düzeltilmesini isteme,
- KVKK'nın 7. maddesinde öngörülen şartlar çerçevesinde kişisel verilerin silinmesini veya yok edilmesini isteme,
- Aktarıldığı üçüncü kişilere yukarıda belirtilen düzeltilme, silinme veya yok edilme kapsamında yapılan işlemlerin bildirilmesini isteme,
- Münhasıran otomatik sistemler vasıtasıyla analiz edilmesi suretiyle aleyhinize bir sonucun ortaya çıkmasına itiraz etme,
- KVKK'ya aykırı olarak işlenmesi sebebiyle zarara uğramanız halinde zararın giderilmesini talep etme
haklarına sahipsiniz.
Haklarınızı nasıl kullanabilirsiniz?
Kanun kapsamındaki haklarınızı şirketimize e-posta yoluyla iletebilirsiniz. Talebiniz en kısa sürede ve en geç 30 gün içinde sonuçlandırılacaktır.

7. Aydınlatma Metninde Değişiklik
Globuy, işbu Aydınlatma Metni'ni yürürlükteki mevzuata uygun olarak değiştirebilir. Değişiklikler, uygulama içinde veya web sitesinde yayınlandığı tarihte yürürlüğe girer. Kullanıcıların, Aydınlatma Metni'ni periyodik olarak kontrol etmeleri önerilir.
Privacy Notice Regarding the Protection of Personal Data
Pursuant to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK)
The company providing the Globuy application (hereinafter referred to as "Globuy" or the "Data Controller") will record, classify, process, store, update, and, where necessary, transfer your personal data to third parties within the scope of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"). Through this notice, we inform you about our mutual rights and obligations under the applicable legislation.
Your personal information includes, but is not limited to, identity information such as name, surname and email address, device information, usage data, browsing history, preferences, and any other information that may identify you or make you identifiable.
1. Method of Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data is collected through the Globuy mobile application, Firebase Authentication services, in-app interactions, and analytics tools. The data collection methods are as follows:
- Authentication: Registration through Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or email/password authentication
- Application usage: Data generated during label scanning, price comparison, and currency conversion activities
- Preferences: User preferences such as currency, language, and search country
- Demographic information: Optional age range and gender information shared by the user
- Device and usage data: Operating system, application version, and usage statistics collected through Firebase Analytics
- Communication: Support requests or feedback submitted by users
2. Purposes and Legal Grounds for Processing Personal Data
Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
- Service delivery: Membership processes, label scanning, price comparison, currency conversion, and displaying results
- Personalization: Storing user preferences such as language, currency, and search country
- History records: Storing and presenting scan history to users
- Security: Account security, prevention of unauthorized access, and user authentication
- Statistics and analysis: Application usage statistics, performance monitoring, and service improvement
- Legal obligations: Compliance with information storage, reporting, and notification obligations stipulated by relevant legislation
- Communication: Responding to user support requests
- Cloud storage: Storage, archiving, and updating of personal data in cloud environments through third parties
- Marketing and communication: Sharing with operators and other third parties we cooperate with for sending informational, advertising, promotional, and similar messages
- Customer segmentation: Classification of customers based on their needs, priorities, and credibility, and subjecting them to a certain scoring system
Legal Basis: The legal basis for processing your personal data is that it is necessary for the establishment or performance of contracts you have made or will make with our company, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of the contracts, and your explicit consent for matters other than the establishment and performance of the contract.
3. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be transferred to our shareholders, domestic/foreign affiliates; persons and institutions from whom we receive services to carry out our activities, with whom we cooperate, to our consultants, lawyers, partner institutions, organizations, domestic/foreign companies, persons and institutions from whom we receive cloud storage services, institutions with which we have agreements for sending messages to our customers, domestic and foreign banks (including correspondent banks), financial institutions, payment institutions, and other third parties with whom we cooperate or from whom we receive services within the framework of our relevant collaborations.
Your personal data may be shared with the following third parties for the purpose of providing the service:
- Firebase Authentication: For user authentication (Google, Apple, email/password)
- Firebase Analytics: For usage statistics and analytical data
- Firebase Firestore: For cloud storage of user data
- Google ML Kit: For OCR (text recognition) operations
- RevenueCat: For premium membership (Globuy Pro) purchase and subscription management
- Google Mobile Ads: For ad display and ad revenue (for free users)
- Cloud service providers: For data storage, backup, and processing services (Google Cloud Platform)
- Marketing and communication partners: For sending informational, advertising, and promotional messages
- Official authorities: To judicial and administrative authorities in case of legal obligation
In cases where there is an obligation to provide information upon the request of official authorities or pursuant to legislation, your information may be transferred to legal authorities and institutions, and they may also share your information.
Personalization: Storing language, currency, and search country settings according to user preferences
History records: Storing and displaying scan history to the user
Security: Account security, prevention of unauthorized access, and user authentication
Statistics and analytics: Application usage statistics, performance monitoring, and service improvement
Legal obligations: Compliance with storage, reporting, and notification obligations required by judicial and administrative authorities under applicable laws
Communication: Responding to user support requests
Important Notice: The legal basis for processing your personal data is the necessity of processing data directly related to the establishment or performance of contracts made or to be made with our company. For processing activities outside the establishment and performance of a contract, your explicit consent may be requested.

Your personal data may be shared with the following third parties for the purpose of providing the service:

Where official authorities request information or where there is a legal obligation to provide information, your data may be transferred to the relevant legal authorities and institutions, which may also share your information in accordance with applicable laws.
4. Retention and Security of Personal Data
Personal data will be stored for as long as the purpose for which it was provided remains valid. For the purpose of identifying your needs related to our services and providing faster service, your data may continue to be processed after the service period has expired.
Where data must be retained for legal reporting or notification purposes to legal authorities and other relevant public institutions, the applicable legal retention periods will be observed.
Necessary security measures will be taken to prevent stored and recorded data from being lost, accessed by unauthorized persons, or used unlawfully. These measures include:
- Secure authentication through Firebase Authentication
- Data encryption and secure communication protocols (HTTPS/TLS)
- Access control and authorization mechanisms
- Regular security updates and reviews
5. Your Rights Under the Law
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to our company, you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data has been processed,
- Request information if your personal data has been processed,
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose,
- Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
- Request correction if your personal data has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
- Request deletion or destruction of personal data under the conditions set forth in Article 7 of the KVKK,
- Request notification of correction, deletion, or destruction operations to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
- Object to the occurrence of a result against you through analysis exclusively by automated systems,
- Request compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.

You may submit your requests under the law to our company via email. Your request will be concluded as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest.
